The Pillar House Ballinasloe and the Aras in Inis Oirr

For those of you in the environs of the West of Ireland next week, I have two nice gigs happening. I’m in The Pillar House in Ballinasloe on Fri 15th and then to Aras Eanna in Inis Oirr on Saturday Sat 16th. I’m nearly certain that this is my first visit to the real Aras…. The Pillar House is definitely a first. I have a memory of playing Ballinasloe as side-kick to Matt Molloy way back. I can’t remember the venue, but we were double booked with Sandy Kelly on the night. Whatever the outcome….my guess is that late night drinks in Ballaghaderreen ensued.
